My days and hours are all jacked up.
- Waking anywhere between 4 and 6
- Turning in anywhere between 9 and 12
- Today I'm up writing this blog at 3:11 am
- Is it getting older?
- Is it day light savings time?
- Is it that my head won't stop thinking?
- Is it my diet?
- I'm pretty certain it's not the coffee, not a drop since 10 am yesterday
I've never been big on sleeping (always think that I'll take that big dirt nap later) and I've heard, read or been told that Jackie Gleason only slept 3 hours a day, Howard Hughes only slept when he felt he needed it, took power naps and would call meetings at all hours of the day.
At one time I slept about 4 hours a day and could function pretty well for about 3 weeks then crash and burn for about 9 hours. I've never been much of a "nap" person and it seems that when I do on those rare occasions take a nap that I'm exhausted for the rest of the day.
That leads me to believe that it's my age catching up with me, or maybe it's just my body screaming at me "take better care of yourself"
I'm starting to listen just a little, I've slowed down on the coffee, slowed down on the smoking and started drinking a little bit of water which for me is a huge step................we'll see how that goes and you never know, I might just have to add some exercise to this equation at some point...
Now where are those damn sheep that are jumping the fence.........
