Regrets............

We all have them and then there are the ones we never have............

I'm sure I've done plenty of things that I regret, I have things I'm sorry for, I have done things I wish I never had and then there are the things that I'll never regret.

What would you change in your world if you had the chance to go back with a do-over?

Me, I would have stayed on the Fire Department, I would have told people I loved them more, I would have learned to cry earlier in my life rather then listen to the "men don't cry speech", I would have learned to listen more (still working on that one), I would have opened up and talked more (think I've got that one working finally), I would have spent more time with my kids and less time at the office, I would have spent more time with my mom in her last year, I would have spent more time with my Granny, to list just a few of the more important ones.

Regrets, oh hell yes I have them, but I'm not going to share them with you here, and things I'm sorry for? oh that's a huge list, but again I'm not going to share them with you here.

Then there are the things that I guess maybe I should regret, wish I had a do-over or should be sorry happened, but at the same time wouldn't trade for the world. The ups, the downs, the in between, those will stay with me until my last breath.

In the end, isn't that what makes us who we are?
