JUMP

It always amazes me how quickly people jump
  • Ship
  • Rope
  • Over
  • Conclusions
"Video Conference in 10 minutes"

"Hi there, my name is Geno and I'm the new District Manager of the Wichita office"
  • Shock
  • Awe
  • WTF
  • When
  • "Where did Todd go"
  • "I knew it"
  • "I told you"
  • "Do we continue to sell"
  • "That's it, I'm leaving"
I liked my story best, he bought the company and is moving the staff of the Wichita office to Shreveport.

None of the above
  • He was placed in charge of the Shreveport and Palm Springs office
  • He will be training the new guy
  • The new guy won't be in Wichita for a month
Isn't it amazing how quickly we're able to jump to conclusions before we know all the facts?

I do that at times, but mine is more "reading" into the situation, the conversation, the email or the text. I see the future before the conversation is completed, I've played it out in my head before I know what the ending really is.

Just one of the curses of being a "fixer"
