When is enough enough?

Am I so wrapped up in wanting more and more and more that I've forgotten what I have and have and have?

Do we ever sit back and think or say to ourselves that "I've got enough"

Back in another life that was my theme in my sales and production meetings,
  • Great job last month, now what will your sales be this month?
  • Great job getting out all those jobs, now how can we increase production with the same or less?
  • Great job landing that account, who is the next one?
  • Don't tell me about the labor pains just show me the baby
Is it enough to just sit back and take inventory of what we have and be satisfied if even for a moment?
  • I'm fairly healthy
  • I have great kids
  • I have grand kids that put a smile on my face
  • I've got a roof over my head
  • I've got a place that is far away from neighbors
  • I've got a hobby that I just love
  • I never go to bed hungry
  • I have opportunities
Wouldn't it be a great place if we just slowed down, paused, reflected and enjoyed this thing called life?
