Things I've learned since my last post
- If at first you don't succeed, send out a few more resumes.
- It's a strange feeling to receive "that" phone call during the day from a recruiter you're not expecting.
- Shreveport isn't as close to the gulf as I thought it was.
- Apartment life isn't for me.
- Going from living in the sticks to living in the city is an adjustment.
- Don't ever stop, keep chasing.
- I have some great references, and appreciate every one of them.
- Grand kids fill you back up.
- I'm a junk food junkie when I travel.
- Who knew you could mix a margarita in the car?
- Apparently ink and killing trees is in my blood.
- Goddard to Shreveport, apartment looking and Shreveport to Goddard is 1401 miles.
- Bloody Mary's mixed with Zing Zang and wostostostostostoser sauce makes a great drink.
- I can only win 1/2 of the chess games I play.
- Sometimes it's good to just enjoy the day.
- Hot Chocolate, Stuffed potatoes in a roll, chocolate donuts, pork rinds, boston baked beans and coffee make a great meal.
- Gas is cheaper in Tulsa.
That's just some of the stuff that makes the world go round.
