Who are they you ask?
Well a few months ago I was introduced to them as a way to help cope with the death of Nicholas, it's a strange little group that I go to see every Monday night. It's a mixture of men, women, old, older and even older.
I think I might be one of the younger ones there, quite a few have lost spouses from cancer, a motorcycle wreck and then there are the three (not including me) that has lost a child (suicide, Vietnam and an auto accident). Their pain is still as raw as it was the day it happened, just like mine is.
While we meet in a church it's not a faith based group although quite a few of them are very religious and have found their faith once again after a considerable amount of time, I haven't got mine back so let's just say I'm "spiritual".
Good Grief of Kansas has lost every bit of their funding and relies entirely on private funding, there are fundraisers throughout the year and this "walk" is just one of them.
I'd love it if you could help them continue operating, and I've made it pretty easy to do so, just click on the link below, punch in an amount and you've helped. It's just that easy..........
I'm walking for Nic.
Thank you in advance.

I am happy that you started coming to Good Grief me and that we are doing the Walk on May 17th! We are a group of people who may have never known one another. A common event brought us together. We are all souls who are sharing with each other, crying together, laughing and smiling together too!
