Little white lies

noun: white lie; plural noun: white lies
  1. a harmless or trivial lie, especially one told to avoid hurting someones feelings.
Yesterday I got to thinking about little white lies...............
  •  is it okay to tell them
  • if it is, then when is it good to tell them
  • is not telling the "whole" story considered a little white lie
  • is it ever okay to not share the whole story
  • is it okay to keep things internal so it doesn't cause pain
  • who are you to determine when or what is going to cause pain for another
  • what if the little white lie you're keeping would do more good to share than hurt
  • is blaming others considered a little white lie
  • is it a little white lie to tell someone that "business is great" if it isn't
  • if you pride yourself on never lying and you tell one how do you feel
  • what is the difference between a "little white lie" and a "regular lie"
  • is it okay to accept the notion that "everyone lies"
  • if we accept that "everyone lies" then why would we believe a thing that anyone tells us
  • who are we really protecting when we tell a "little white lie"
