Are you sure?

How many times have you either said or heard this?

What does it really mean? Does it mean that a cow is what a cow is, a idea is what the idea is or, your life is what it is?

Why settle for "it is what it is"? Does that make it better, worse, the same, just stagnant or do you just accept what it is?

Tonight I had a great conversation with my oldest, (sake induced, and I'm sure I shared mre than I normally would) we shared we laughed, we compared notes and we came to the same conclusion.

Neither one of us enjoy the thought of our lives just being "what it is"

Maybe it's time we decide to either learn to be complete with "what it is" or make a change and decide to starting living "it is what it could be"

Does that mean making a career change, doing something different, learning something new or just waking up tomorrow and saying..........you know what, today really isn't what it is, I've decided to make it what it "should be"
