Sometimes we go through life expecting, anticipating, wanting, desiring and in my case wanting it faster then we can even think about it.There I said it, I'm a inpatient guy, I need, desire, want and expect instant gratification.
When is the last time you stopped and thought about what you have or what you've had and just said "thanks"
How did it start?
I've learned to say "thank-you" a little bit more than I have in the past and with that being said..............just a few of the thing's that I'm thankful for include................
- Family
- Grand kids
- Being fortunate enough to live in a county that celebrates Thanksgiving
- Having a warm place to sleep at night
- Friends
- The "ability" to make changes in my life
Maybe it starts with just saying the words Thank you................so many times we just take it for granted or in my case find it difficult to say it, but I'm learning.
Do you remember the last time you said the words or gave someone a reason to say them to you?
"Thanksgiving Day comes, by statute, once a year; to the honest man it comes as frequently as the heart of gratitude will allow." - Edward Sandford Martin
